Western Reserve Hospital Physicians, Inc. is now offering comprehensive Urology services as the organization welcomes two urologists. 

Dr. Damian Garcher and Dr. Zane C. Giffen, joining January 29 and February 15, will provide treatment and care for a variety of urology services including, but not limited to, prostate exams, urinary incontinence, low testosterone, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, male infertility, hematuria, and prostate cancer. 

Damian Garcher, MD, earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. While in Toledo, he completed an internship in general surgery and went on to complete his residency in urology at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where he earned the Residency Patient Care Award and Residency Research Award. He went on to serve patients at Washington Health System Urology in Pennsylvania. Dr. Garcher earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science from Gannon University. He is a member of the American Urological Association and American Association of Clinical Urologists.

Dr. Zane C. Giffen earned his medical degree from Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute after receiving his Masters of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University and earning a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Bioengineering from University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in Urology and Renal Transplantation at the University of Toledo Medical Center and went on to serve urology patients at University Hospitals Urology Institute. Dr. Giffen is a member of the American Urological Association and previously earned the University of Toledo’s Department of Urology – Best Patient Care Award 2019-2020.
