Discharge Prescription Service

Whether it’s a quick refill or a question about your medication, New Choice Pharmacy offers the area’s most personal and prompt service. Unlike national chains, at the independently-owned and managed New Choice Pharmacy, you can always count on being helped by our experienced pharmacists and expertly trained staff

We pride ourselves on being 100% customer-centered and delivering the highest level of customer service. For a full line of the most popular medications, as well as a broad selection of over-the-counter medications, visit the community’s pharmacy - New Choice Pharmacy located on the 2nd floor just off the main lobby.

Our pharmacy can also fill and deliver home-going prescriptions right to your bedside to make your discharge as simple as possible. One of our pharmacists will also visit to advise on any medications you receive and answer any questions you might have. Please speak to your physician or nurse if you would like to take advantage of this service.

Chapel

At Western Reserve Hospital, the chapel is located on the Main floor, level 2 next to the 2 West Family Waiting Room.

Mail

We will deliver mail to all patient rooms. You may give outgoing mail to your nurse.

Notary Services

The services of a notary are available at Western Reserve Hospital, for healthcare documents only, during normal business hours from Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m..

Cellular Phones

The use of cellular or portable phones is permitted at Western Reserve Hospital, except where posted signs indicate it is prohibited. Cell phone charging stations are also conveniently located throughout the hospital waiting areas. The hospital does not accept liability for loss of or damage to cellular phones that are not placed with Security for safekeeping.

Dentures, Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids

Please store dentures, eyeglasses and hearing aids in a safe place when you are not using them. Please do not wrap dentures, eyeglasses or hearing aids in tissue, paper or cloth, or leave them on your meal tray. Your nurse can provide you with a special denture box and/or hospital eye-glass case upon request. The hospital is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal items retained by the patient including dentures, eyeglasses or hearing aids. Any personal items may be placed with Security for safekeeping during your stay.
