Western Reserve Hospital serves as one of Northeast Ohio’s most advanced community hospitals, dedicated to education, community outreach and the overall wellness of the many areas it serves.
As a healthcare pillar for the community, Western Reserve is committed to improving overall health and wellness in Northeast Ohio by working closely with city leadership, businesses, organizations, schools, police and fire departments to implement effective, far-reaching programs for families and children.
In collaboration with the city, schools, police and fire departments of Cuyahoga Falls, Western Reserve launched “Not Me, I’m Drug Free,” an anti-drug campaign that reaches every 5th grader in Cuyahoga Falls City and Woodridge Local Schools.
The hospital strives to improve the overall health of the community. The Doctor’s Order program unites Western Reserve with more than a dozen local restaurants. This popular program helps people make healthier decisions when dining out by identifying heart-healthy entrees on each participating restaurant’s menu. The hospital also hosts and participates in numerous luncheons, healthy cooking demonstrations, nutrition lectures and health fairs throughout the region.
