As more Ohioans continue to get vaccinated for COVID-19, Western Reserve Hospital was recognized for their successful vaccination process.
Western Reserve Hospital has administered over 3,700 vaccines with only 8% of recipients missing their second dose appointment. Some people express their fear of side effects, espsecially after the second dose. Some side effects are normal, including soreness at the injection site, low fever and fatigue.
"We are hearing these concerns only as they are returning for their second dose, and our staff has done a great job educating and calming fears and anxieties,” Nealie D’Abate, vice president of organizational development and chief learning officer at Western Reserve Hospital.
