Our own Dr. Gregory Hill, Department Chairman of Surgery and Division Chief of Orthopedics, Western Reserve Hospital, recently returned to his high school alma mater after 50 years where he held a book signing for students at Buchtel Community Learning Center's Learning Resource Lab. 

Dr. Hill signed copies of his recently published book, "Through It All: How Sacrifice and Service Helped in Achieving My Dream of Becoming a Surgeon” and shared about obstacles he overcame and finding his path to becoming a surgeon. 

Students engaged with Dr. Hill as he answered their questions throughout the event and inspired them to work hard for their goals. The book signing was also covered by the Akron Beacon Journal and you can read more and see photos from the event here.
