City of Stow Hosts Party for Elvis' Birthday

Seniors in Stow were recently treated to a special celebration at the new Stow Community and Senior Center for what would have been Elvis Presley’s 90th birthday.

Western Reserve Hospital collaborated with the City of Stow’s Parks and Recreation Department to make the event a success. The hospital provided food, which included peanut butter and banana sandwiches, fried chicken and baked beans, all of which were favorites of Presley's.

A talented Elvis impersonator performed some of his greatest hits and many attendees shared memories of seeing "The King" on stage.

Thank you to Stow’s Parks and Recreation Department for hosting a wonderful birthday party that we could help make special for local seniors.
