Western Reserve Hospital’s Sarah Gosorn, RN, 3 West was recently honored with the Cameos of Caring Award through The University of Akron School of Nursing annual award announcement.

Due to COVID-19 precautions that prevented the University’s larger ceremony, Sarah was joined by colleagues, friends and family at a small award reception to celebrate the honor. View Award Presentation

Recognizing nurses for their contributions to healthcare in Summit County and the surrounding region is one of the primary purposes of The University of Akron School of Nursing Cameos of Caring program. Begun in 2002, the Cameos of Caring program continues to celebrate nursing excellence and helps keep the nation's critical need for nurses at the forefront of public consciousness.
