Western Reserve Hospital’s Lisa Trettel, BSN, RN, Emergency Department, was recently recognized as a Cameos of Caring winner during The University of Akron School of Nursing annual award announcement.
Trettel began her career at Western Reserve as a CTA and has advanced to her current role as a charge nurse. Throughout the years, she continued to refine her professional skills and has earned the reputation from peers and physicians as being an “all-around excellent nurse”.
Recognizing nurses for their contributions to healthcare in Summit County and the surrounding region is one of the primary purposes of The University of Akron School of Nursing Cameos of Caring program. Launched in 2002, the Cameos of Caring program continues to celebrate nursing excellence and helps keep the nation's critical need for nurses at the forefront of public consciousness.
