April Is Occupational Therapy Month
- This month we reflect on the dedicated occupational therapists in our organization who play a crucial role in helping others recover from injuries or other impairments
- Western Reserve Hospital is grateful to our own occupational therapy team which is comprised of Kim Freborg, OTR/L; Kevin Brod, OTD; Dana VonLindt, COTA/L; Elise Murtagh, OTR/L, OTD and Kate Mickle, OT
- Occupational Therapy services are offered at our Easy Street location inside the hospital
- Our therapists use a variety of techniques to improve our client's functional skills needed to achieve independence in their daily occupations, including the "jobs" of self care, home care, family responsibilities and work skills, to name a few
- Thank you to these remarkable members of our hospital family for all they do to help others return to a better way of life
