Weight Loss Surgery Information Sessions
Weight loss information sessions are presented by Dr. Walter J. Chlysta, one of the first surgeons to introduce minimally invasive bariatric surgery to Northeast Ohio and the first surgeon to perform minimally invasive weight loss surgery in Summit County. His total patient-centered approach has allowed for the successful performance of more than 1,000 bariatric procedures – all with excellent results.
Information sessions will cover different types of weight loss surgery, how to qualify for surgery and steps to take to start the process. Dr. Chlysta will be available for questions after each presentation.

Bariatric surgery support sessions focus on post-operative education, support and motivation for patients and their families. In addition to guest speakers, there will be a group discussion to allow patients an opportunity to share with each other.
