Jeffrey Elbon was raised in Northern California but moved to Ohio as an adult, in 2007. He currently resides in Stow with his wife and 2 children.
Jeffrey began to take an interest in art around the age of 10 and really drew a lot of inspiration from the urban art style that was common in his California community at the time. He is self-taught, choosing elective arts as part of his K-12 education whenever possible and practicing new techniques on his own as an adult.
While much of his work continues to focus on the urban style from his childhood, using mainly acrylics and spray paints; he also has experience with pet portraits, sports images, collages and wood burning. He has recently been showcased at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland (in collaboration with Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center), Graffiti HeART Institute of Cleveland, COLLIDE: Cuyahoga Falls and as part of the Stow Arts Commission: Traffic Box beautification program.
