I am an Akron, Ohio-born, Hanau, Germany-raised creative empowered by the Creator. My faith, heritage, and worldview are translated through my artistic explorations. I’m inspired by the world around me and the idea of making old things new. As a mixed media artist, I’m moved by the infusion of textures and the imperfections of shapes and concepts. My expressions often echo imperfect movement, unfinished thoughts, and the voice of the spirit within me.

This body of work, entitled Quiet Places, is a collection of moments, thoughts, and feelings derived from a period of peace and surrenderance. I cannot pinpoint where these depictions began, or if they’ve come to an end. Perhaps it’s an embodiment of the collective quiet places experienced from my beginning until now.
