Aimee Pierson is a longtime resident of Geauga County, living in Chesterland with her amazing husband, sweetly sassy daughter, and slightly neurotic corgi. She spent her childhood in Munson,
wandering through undeveloped woods in search of critters and adventure. She oftentimes found both, which was the start of a lifelong love and fascination of nature and all living things.
For over 20 years, she applied her curiosity and artistic talents to the corporate marketing world, most enjoying the role of a Photography Producer with Progressive Insurance. It was there that she learned the fundamentals of photography, composition, and the art of capturing life. She is a self-taught photographer, utilizing her producer background as well as online learning and thousands of hours of field practice to capture her images.
She has won multiple awards for her work and has held several solo and collaborative shows throughout Geauga County. She is also the owner of Little Whimsies, an art-based company featuring her photography as well as nature-based jewelry. She is a member of the Geauga Arts Networking Group as well as a proud board member of the Geauga Arts Council. In this show, she is excited to showcase the breadth and diversity of flower and fauna located in Northeast Ohio. She hopes to spread joy through the beauty and the moments captured in these images.
When she isn’t mucking about in woods and fields, she enjoys spending time with her family. She loves to kayak, is a voracious reader, and is a huge fan of terrible Dad jokes.
