He is a local Akron artist that has been painting and drawing his entire life. He is self-trained and inspired by wildlife, music and pop culture. This installation was done specifically for the hospital and hoped to bring smiles to everyone’s faces. These animals are all images that he has wanted to paint; he keeps a file of inspiration on his phone. Ben uses acrylic paints that have vibrant colors and metallic light reflective surfaces to enhance visual texture. He loves creating a strong contrast with lines and bold colors to make the paintings feel more dimensional.
This collection consist of two sizes. The smaller pieces are 12“x12“ for sale at $190. The larger pieces 16“x20” canvas for sale at $360.
